Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark Find Themselves on Opposite Sides Again as Kansas City Chiefs Trump Baltimore Ravens

The two NCAA nemesis were at it again. This time around, the battleground was NFL, where they were backing their favourite teams. But unlike last year, the Bayou Barbie’s antics didn’t work this time around. Her rival Caitlin Clark had a last laugh when Kansas City advanced to the Super Bowl after defeating the Baltimore Ravens.

The NFL match evoked the 2023 Finals of the NCAA when the hostility was visible throughout the season between the two college stars. But the final moments of the Final Four heated the situation when Angel Reese delivered a stunt straight to Caitlin Clark’s face, which was more in the headline than LSU bagging their first national championship.

Caitlin Clark emerged victorious

After the Instagram showoff, the Kansas City Chiefs to Caitlin Clark’s delight, emerged victorious. Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens lost a tough battle, probably disappointing Angel Reese.

The 2024 season started with the great anticipation of a cold war between these two college stars, and this time it has elevated from an NCAA arena to an NFL fan fight as both of them supported opposite teams in an indirect star fan fight, which enthralled their followers on social media.

The NCAA stars are avid supporters of the NFL, as Caitlin Clark is a die-hard fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, which was evident when she expressed her fangirl moments on social media. On the other hand, Angel Reese is a staunch supporter of the Baltimore Ravens, as her admiration for Lamar Jackson is well-established.

Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark have posted their respective favorites on their Instagram stories, as even Reese once attended Jackson’s play in person, which limelights the NFL spirits in the budding NCA star. During the Traves Kelly and Taylor Swift rumors, Caitlin Clark gave a big shout out to the pop star as she welcomed Taylor Swift to the Kansas team, showing the fan in her.

Where does the vying stand?

Angel Reese is having one of the toughest seasons, as her unannounced absence for two weeks has caused a roller coaster in her career. Despite this, she made the biggest comeback, as she is currently averaging 19.6 points per game, 11.9 rebounds, and two assists. Further, she is delivering a consecutive twenty-pointer, which indicates a bright future on her side.

On the other hand, Caitlin Clark is having the best season of her NCAA career, with statistically dominating records sweeping every individual accolade in her name. With a dominating 40-pointer game, she is averaging 32 points per game with 7 rebounds and 7.7 assists.
