But as they arrived at the trial clearing and were greeted by hosts Ant and Dec, Radio 1 star Dean cracked a joke.
He said: “Well, well, well. We need to stop meeting like this. I’ve told you I didn’t want another date.”
As Declan Donnelly laughed, Ant just looked blankly in Dean’s direction.
The moment didn’t go unnoticed as I’m A Celebrity fans flooded social media with their reactions.
